In the yardIn good weather larger events can be held in the yard. Opposite the entrance there is a dance floor built from railway sleepers.

This is not a fast food place
Tapa is known as an important railway junction, and of course it has a station. Right next to the station is us. It has always been that way: where there is a railway station, there is a tavern.
Roadside eateries often serve fast food to hungry travellers in a hurry. Vaksali Tavern, however, has been run by the chef from the well-known TV show “Köögikupja”, and a new menu was created for the show, so you can expect a serious taste experience.

The tavern hall seats up to 35 guests. For a larger party we bring the food to a venue of your choice at the agreed time.

Up to 35 people in the large hall, up to 25 in the Room of Good Thoughts upstairs and 8–10 on the balcony.
Where is Vaksali Tavern?
At Ambla mnt 3, 45106 Tapa, next to Tapa railway station. Õnnela Guesthouse is a separate place about 12 km away in Ohepalu village.
Is the tavern open every day?
The tavern is open by arrangement. Tell us your preferred date and number of guests and we will suggest the right solution.
Can we order food elsewhere too?
Yes. For a larger group we bring the food to a venue of your choice. On request we also provide service and party furniture.
