Frequently asked questions

How large a team does Õnnela suit?

For a seminar the fireplace hall seats up to 72 people in rows, 53 at a long table and 16 at group work tables. For dinner together the fireplace hall has room for over 60 guests. We put together the accommodation to suit the size of your group.

What equipment is available for a seminar?

The fireplace hall has a fixed projector, a large magnetic whiteboard and flipchart, two 100 W speakers with microphone input and a photocopier. Free WiFi covers the whole house.

How far is Õnnela from Tallinn and can we come by bus?

It is 85 km or about 50 minutes' drive from Tallinn, 26 km from Rakvere and 12 km from Tapa. There is a large car park next to the house that fits a bus.

What activities can we add to a team day?

A guided bog hike to Lake Ohepalu Suurjärv, a bike tour and a torchlight hike in the dark season. Snowshoe and ski tours in winter. See more on the hiking page.

Can we hold a team day in winter?

Yes. A winter seminar outing is just as good a reason to get together: work in the fireplace hall during the day, then a snowshoe hike on the snowy bog, and sauna and dinner together in the evening.
